Adwords and the price of a word

An interesting account by Christophe Bruno about how to use adwords to promote art. An add was created on google to display little poems instead of straightfoward promotional content. The idea was to move people to the website using the same artistic content.

The experiment didn't go well, since most people didn't understand the concept. Google itself sent a few messages saying that the ad didn't represent the destination site property. They eventually disabled the ad.

The page also discuss the interesting question: what is the price of each word? Ironically, it seams that the highest word in the adwords program is "free"...

Submit website URL Of course, the search engines don't always get it right. Non-relevant pages make it through, and sometimes it may take a littlemore digging to find what you are looking for. But, by and large, search engines do an amazing job.
