Google Earth shows the Tour de France

With so much activity going on the Tour de France, it is easy to see how Google Earth can help. It can provide a detailed view of the areas where the tour is being run, the positions of competitors, and nice fly-over visions of the difficulties of the competition.

So it is not a surprise that the official web site of the Tour de France decided to show this information using Google's program. If you click the link (and install Google earth, if you don't have it), you will have enough information about the tour to satisfy even the most fanatic.

With Google Earth, Google makes it more real the promisse of being able to travel without leaving your home town...
