Google entering the S&P 500 index

Google has finally got to the top of traded firms. According to the administration of S&P, after Mar 31st Google will take part on the index.

This is a serious recognition that Google is doing a great job as a publicly traded company. Despite some problems with the disclosure of financial information and discussions about the future of the company, the S&P index seems to be convinced that Google is a solid company with serious growth perspectives for the future.
