Men prefer Google to Yahoo
A new survey of consumer preferences in USA has shown that there is a great difference in behavior between men and women in terms of web usage.
According to the poll, performed by from Pew Internet and American Life (as reported bywebpronews), men have the tendency of looking a the Internet as an extension of their offices, which are a mostly male environment.
On the other hand, most women see the Internet as a means to intensify their relantionships, and learn new things that can make their life better.
This difference in view reflects their choices of web sites. In general, men have a higher tendency to choose clean and functional web sites such as Google. The opposite happens with the women investigated.
