New trojan modifies Google AdSense code

According to JensSense, a new type of trojan script is infecting computers of several Internet users. The trojan targets only advertisements created with the adwords program.

According to the report, the trojan program "replaces Google AdSense ads with their own ads. The replaced ads sell products in dating, viagra, sex and weight loss industry. This is probably the first appearance of contextual advertising trojan."

There is apparently no solution for the recently found problem. However, the trojan modifies only the local copy of the web page. Thus, there is no real harm for the advertisers using the adwords program.
